ABOUT US
Charles Towne Independent was founded in 2016 to create a home for the many talented performers in the Charleston area and beyond. It is our goal to provide a safe and stable educational environment so that our performers can continue to develop their artistry in color guard and dance. These talented young adults are the directors and color guard educators of the future and we want to provide them with the highest quality of education and training.
Our primary focus is to provide quality education to our members while striving for excellence on the national stage. However, our focus is primarily on the members of our local programs. We strive to provide the "low country" with young adults who can be respectable role models for those just starting on their color guard journey. We want to inspire those around us to work hard and conduct themselves with integrity and honor all while in the pursuit of excellence.
